The goal of this project was to design a user-friendly hotel booking system where customers could easily view available hotels, compare prices, and book their stay directly through the website. The website was designed to be intuitive, making the booking process seamless for users.
I conducted usability testing by observing real users interacting with a website to identify issues and gather feedback. Notes from these sessions were used for further design iterations.
To organize the user research findings, I created an affinity diagram where I grouped related themes, concepts, and comments into categories. This helped identify key trends and prioritize features based on user needs.
I created a customer journey map to understand each stage of the user's experience, from researching hotels to post-booking confirmation. This helped identify pain points and areas for improvement.
The flow diagram visualized the sequence of actions users took during the booking process. It helped me streamline the user journey by identifying and removing potential friction points.
I created hand-drawn sketches to quickly visualize layout ideas, which allowed me to iterate rapidly and experiment with different UI elements for the website.
I used the insights from my flow diagrams and sketches to create a high-fidelity prototype in Figma. This prototype allows users to interact with the website, simulate the booking process, and experience the website firsthand.
